If you would prefer to avoid viewing or hearing any media which contains profanity, MyCatholicVoice has a feature which filters out any media containing profanity. With this feature activated, you will not see any media which has been identified as containing profanity. You can activate this feature when you register as a new Member, or you can go into your profile and activate it. How do I activate the profanity filter feature?
When Members submit media to MyCatholicVoice, they are required to advise whether or not the material being submitted contains profanity. As an added measure, we carefully screen each submission and will determine whether or not material contains profanity. On a rare occasion, we may miss something. If that occurs, please flag the material as inappropriate or advise us via Contact Us to let us know so we can review that material.
Please understand that different people have different definitions of what profanity is. While we respect your beliefs and feelings and those of our other Members, our opinion may differ from yours.
