What is a Service Level for a Group?
The pricing / service level options establish the amount of digital content the group may maintain. All other Group features are available, regardless of the service level selected. The basic service level is free and allows the Group access to 0.5 Gigabytes of storage which enables it to maintain up to approximately 3 hours of video, 9 hours of audio, or a combination thereof. Other Service Levels are:
- 1.0 Gigabyte: Approximately 6 hours of video or 18 hours of audio or a combination of the two. Price: $149;
- 1.5 Gigabytes: Approximately 10 hours of video or 30 hours of audio or a combination of the two. Price: $299;
- 3.5 Gigabytes: Approximately 20 hours of video or 60 hours of audio or a combination of the two. Price: $599;
- 5.5 Gigabytes: Approximately 30 hours of video or 90 hours of audio or a combination of the two. Price: $899.

How do I withdraw from a Group?
To withdraw from a Group, click CANCEL GROUP MEMBERSHIP on the Group Home Page. You will be asked to confirm your request to leave the Group.

What is a Sub-Group?
A Sub-Group is a subset of a Group. You have total flexibility with the Sub-Group feature and may set up as many Sub-Groups as you would like within your main Group and for whatever sub-groups of people you would like. Sub-Groups may be created by any Member of a Group who has been granted authority to create Sub-Groups by the Group Administrator.

There are three Group types: Public, Public - Invitation Only and Private. How do they differ?
There are three types of Groups - Public, Public-Invitation Only and Private. The Privacy Option allows you to choose the type of Group you want to set up. You can select the level of privacy you want for your Group. The different levels are:
1. Public, anyone can join.
- The Group page is public: anyone can view or join instantly.
- Any Group Member with permission to post blogs can post blogs.
- Any Group Member with permission to post media can post media.
2. Public, invitation only.
- Anyone can find and view the Group, but to join you must request and be accepted or be invited.
- Any Group Member with permission to post blogs can post blogs.
- Any Group Member with permission to post media can post media.
3. Private.
- Private Groups can never be made public.
- Only Group Members and those who enter the community password can view the Group page.
- Private Groups' blogs and media are completely hidden from searches, but Group description and picture will appear on Community searches.
- Any Group Member with permission to post blogs can post blogs.
- Any Group Member with permission to post media can post media.

How do I withdraw from a Sub-Group?
To withdraw from a Sub-Group, click CANCEL SUB-GROUP MEMBERSHIP on the Sub-Group Home Page. You will be asked to confirm your request to leave the Sub-Group.

How do I add to or edit a blog?
Only the creator of a blog can add to it or edit it. To add to or edit your blog:
1. Navigate to the Group or Sub-Group home page where the blog resides.
2. Click on the name of the blog.
3. Next to the name of the blog, click EDIT.
4. Enter the text you wish to add or change and click SAVE.

How do I join a Public Group?
1. From any page within MyCatholicVoice, Click GROUPS on the Navigation Bar at the top of the screen.
2. Enter the name of the Group you want to join in the search field and click Search. If you don't know the exact name of the Community, you can search for it by entering a key word(s) that is/are part of the Group's name.
3. When you find the Group you wish to join, click on the name of that Group and you will navigate to the Group's Home Page.
4. On the Group's home page, click Join Group.
5. You will be automatically admitted into the Public Group.

How do I join a Public - Invitation Only Group?
1. From any page within MyCatholicVoice, Click GROUPS on the Navigation Bar at the top of the screen.
2. Enter the name of the Group you want to join in the search field, and click SEARCH. If you don't know the exact name of the Group, you can search for it by entering a key word(s) that is/are part of the Group's name into the Search Group field.
3. When you find the Group you wish to join, click on the name of that Group and you will navigate to the Group's Home Page.
4. A new page will open where you can sign in using the Group's password or Request to join the Group. If you do not have the password, click REQUEST TO JOIN.
5. You will receive a message indicating that your membership in the Group is pending approval by the Administrator. Click OK.
6. The Group Administrator will review your request to join and advise you by email whether that request has been accepted or declined.

How do I create a Sub-Group?
To create a Sub-Group:
1. Find the parent Group under which you want the Sub-Group fall, by selecting it from the list of Groups under the MY GROUPS tab on the My Stuff page.
2. At the Group screen, find the SUB-GROUPS module.
3. Click ADD SUB-GROUP.
4. Enter the requested information in the fields provided. Required fields are designated with a red asterisk (*). Note that for Private Sub-Groups, you will need to enter and confirm a Sub-Group Password.

How do I create a blog under a Sub-Group?
1. Find the parent Group, under which the Sub-Group falls, by selecting it from the list of in My Groups on the MY STUFF Home page.
2. Select the desired Sub-Group by clicking on the Sub-Group's name.
3. Under the Sub-Group Home page, click find the Blog Module and click Create Blog.
4. Enter the title of your blog and the body of your blog in the fields provided. If you want to add media to your blog, click Select File and upload the desired file. The media you post will appear in the top right corner of your blog.
5. Then click Post Blog.

How do I join a Private Group?
1. From any page within MyCatholicVoice, Click MY GROUPS on the Navigation Bar at the top of the screen.
2. Enter the name of the Group you want to join and click Search. If you don't know the exact name of the Group, you can search for it by entering a key word(s) that is/are part of the Group's name.
3. When you find the Group you wish to join, click on the name of that Group and you will be asked to enter the Group Password. Click Request to Join and a request will be sent to the Group Administrator to accept or reject your request.
4. The Group Administrator will review your request to join and advise you whether that request has been accepted or declined.
5. Upon approval, you will be sent an email containing the Group Password, which is required to access the Group.
6. Enter the Group Password in the field provided and click Sign In. If you do not have the Group Password, you must contact the Administrator of the Group to get that Password.

How do I create a blog?
Blogs can be created and edited by any Member of a Group or Sub-Group who has been authorized to do so. Permission to create blogs is granted by the Group Administrator or Sub-Group Administrator. Only the creator of a blog can edit it. Others can comment on a blog, but cannot add to it or change it.
To create a blog under a Group:
1. Select the Group by clicking its name under MY GROUPS tab on the MY STUFF page.
2. At the Group Home Page, click Create Blog under the Blog Module.
3. Enter the title and description of your blog in the fields provided.
4. Then click Create Blog.
5. To add an entry to your blog, click on the name of the blog and then click Create Blog Entry. You can upload media to your entry by clicking on Add Media.

The authority to post media to a Group or Sub-Group site must be granted by the Administrator of the Group or Sub-Group where you are trying to post media.
