Catholic Content, LLC ("us," "we" or "our") created this Web Site Privacy Policy ("Privacy Policy" or "Policy") in order to ensure the confidence of visitors and customers ("you" or "your") of and to our Web site www.myCatholicVoice.com (the "Site"), and to demonstrate our commitment to fair information practices and the protection of privacy. This Privacy Policy will help you to understand what personal information we may collect from you, how we collect it and what we will do with that information.
Any and all information you provide us via this Site or by phone, mail, text, SMS message or any other form of written or oral communication may be used by us for any lawful purpose and in accordance with this Privacy Policy, as amended from time to time.

Non-Account Activity: We offer a number of services on our Site that you can access without providing personally-identifiable information.
Account-Related Activity:By providing us with information that personally identifies you ("Personal Information"), such as an e-mail account and password, you may create an account ("Site Account"), which will allow you to engage in other activities offered on our Site such as uploading media, posting comments in our forums, or rating media.
Usage Information: We may record information about your Site usage such as when and how often you visit our Site, the favorites you subscribe to, the number of pages viewed, the frequency and size of date transfers, as well as information you display. This will help us to get a better understanding on the audience that is viewing the site.
Content Uploaded to Site: Any Personal Information or media content that you voluntarily disclose online (such as on blogs, comments, video, audio, photographs, profile pages, etc) becomes publicly available and can be collected and used by other users. Personal Information that you disclose in any one of these forums can be read, collected or used by other users. We are not responsible for any Personal Information you choose to provide in these forums. Please use discretion when providing Personal Information in this manner.
The Information We Collect:
User Provided Information: In order for you to use the Site or purchase products or services that we offer via the Site, we require you to provide us with Personal Information. Log Files and Traffic Data: When you use the Site our servers record certain information that your web browser automatically sends whenever you visit a website. This information includes Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, browser language, number of clicks, domain names, referring URLs, landing pages, pages viewed and the order of those pages viewed, amount of time spent on a particular page, the date and time of your request, and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify the browser you are using. Log files and traffic data is anonymous information that does not personally identify you but is helpful for marketing purposes or for improving your experience on the Site.
Pixel Tags. Our Site pages and /or e-mails may contain electronic images know as "pixel tags" or "clear gifs." Pixel tags are used to track the pages that you visit on our Site for purposes of developing future offerings and advertising as well as upgrading visitor information used in reporting statistics. Third parties may place pixel tags on our Site to help determine the effectiveness of any joint advertising or promotional campaigns.
Affiliated sites: We offer some of our services in connection with other web sites. Personal information that you provide to those sites may be sent to us in order to deliver the service. We process such information in accordance with this Policy. The affiliated sites may have different privacy practices and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.
Links: We may present links in a format that enables us to keep track of whether these links have been followed. We use this information to improve the quality of our search technology, customized content and advertising.
Other sites: This Privacy Policy applies to web sites and services that are owned and operated by Catholic Content LLC. We do not exercise control over the sites displayed as search results or links from within our various services. These other sites may place their own cookies or other files on your computer, collect data or solicit personal information from you.
How We Use the Information We Collect:
We take your privacy very seriously. The Personal Information that you are required to provide when choosing to participate with us or use our Site (such as your name and email address) is used only for the purposes described in this Policy and/or a privacy notice for specific services or purposes. If you submit Personal Information to us through the Site, (i) we use Contact Data to send you information about our company, our products or services, promotional material from some of our partners, or to contact you when necessary; (ii) we use your Financial Data to collect from you or bill you for products and services you have requested or elected to purchase; and (iii) we use your Demographic Data to, among other things, customize and tailor your experience on the Site, displaying content that we think you might be interested in according to your preferences.
Except as provided herein, we will not share your Financial Data, and any Financial Data we collect as part of your registration and account set-up from you or from third parties will not be shared with third parties other than as provided in this Privacy Policy.

We may use your email address for non-marketing administrative purposes, such as notifying you of a major Site change, newly available Site functions, or for customer service purposes.

Your Choice Regarding Collection, Use and Distribution of Personal Information
You may, of course, decline to submit Personal Information through the Site. If you do so, certain of our products and services might not be available to you. If you do not want us to share your Personal Information with any third parties or to receive information and promotional material from us or from our affiliates, please email us at optout@mycatholicvoice.com or select the "opt out" box on our online forms. If you choose to not receive emails from us, you may opt out of receiving such email, and your account will be cancelled. This is necessary because we are often required to send notices to you relative to products you have purchased or viewed.
Your password is the key to your account. Use unique numbers, letters, and special characters and do not disclose your password to anyone. To protect your privacy and security, we take steps to verify your identity before granting you profile access or making corrections to it. You are responsible for maintaining the secrecy of your password. Our employees will never ask you for your password so do not be fooled by someone who is trying to pose as a Catholic Content, LLC employee. If you do share your password or your Personal Information with others, remember that you are responsible for all actions taken in the name of your account. If you lose control of your password, you may lose substantial control over your Personal Information and may be subject to legally binding actions taken on your behalf. Therefore, if your password has been compromised for any reason, you should immediately notify us and change your password.

Other Limits to Your Privacy
We allow other companies, referred to as third party companies, to place advertisements within our Site. These third party companies use technology to send their advertisements and links that appear in designated areas of our Site, directly to your browser. When this happens, they automatically receive your IP address. These third party companies may also use other technologies (such as cookies, Javascript, or Web Beacons) to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements and to personalize the advertising content which you see displayed on your screen. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such other sites. Except as otherwise expressly included in this Privacy Policy, this document addresses only the use and disclosure of information we collect from you. If you disclose your information to others on other sites, different rules may apply to their use or disclosure of the information you disclose to them.
We do not provide any Personal Information to these third party companies without your consent or except as part of a specific program or feature for which you will have the ability to opt-in or opt-out. However, if a third-party company requests that we show an advertisement to a certain audience or audience segment and you respond to that ad, they may conclude that you fit the description of their target audience. The third party company may also use non-Personal Information regarding your use of the Site, such as the number of times you have viewed an ad to determine which ads to deliver to you.

Through your personal profile you may: (a) review and update your Personal Information that we have already collected; (b) choose whether or not you wish us to send you information about our company, or promotional material from some of our partners or affiliates; or (c) choose whether or not you wish us to share some of your Personal Information with third parties.
No Spam, Spyware or Spoofing
We do not tolerate spam. Make sure to set your notification preferences so we communicate with you as you prefer. To report related spam or spoof emails to us, please forward the email to spam@mycatholicvoice.com.
We Commit To Children's Privacy!
Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important to us. Therefore, no part of our Site is directed towards children under 13 years of age and we do not knowingly collect or maintain Personal Information or non-personally-identifiable information on the Site from persons under 13 years of age. If you are under 13 years of age, please do not use or access the Site at any time or in any manner. Upon discovery that we have inadvertently collected information from an individual under 13 years of age, we will take the appropriate steps towards deleting this information.
Special Note to International Users
The Site is hosted in the United States and is intended for and directed to users in the United States.
