MyCatholicVoice has been instrumental in the growth of our youth and parish as well. It has enabled us to take the Catholic faith to the modern media and use it for good. It's hard for us to post youth videos and things of that nature on YouTube with all of the inappropriate advertisements. With MyCatholicVoice, there is no concern there! What a relief! We can post something wholesome and something good on a site that is completely wholesome and good! The youth absolutely love seeing or hearing themselves on the website and it has been an awesome experience posting podcasts on there myself. I would love to see MyCatholicVoice flourish in the future... God bless MyCatholicVoice!

My first experience with MyCatholicVoice was when my daughter attended NCYC in Kansas City in 2009. The webcasting of portions of the event were amazing. I was able to watch some of the Mass and other parts of the event, and discuss them with my daughter when she got home. Getting a teen to talk to [their] parent can sometimes be tough, but because I was able to see it, I was able to start the conversation... and then she would get excited and tell me about that part... Our kids know tech and we need to keep up to participate in [their] lives.

MyCatholicVoice and its role in bringing NCYC to the web and to an audience of young people and the adults who work with them was invaluable in our archdiocesan youth ministry. Those who could not travel to Kansas City were able to hear and see the vibrant faith of the young Catholic Church. Those who did attend in person were able to have follow-up resources from the conference once back at their home parish. MyCatholicVoice is serving the young church and meeting a significant need in youth ministry today.

As a frequent user of My Catholic Voice, I would hope and pray that others would see its incredible potential. Whether it just be logging in to get my quote or inspiration of the day, downloading music, doing research for our parish's ministries, listening to CATHOLIC homilies or joining into live activities like World Youth Day, I would truly miss this resource. As an older (60+) subscriber, and not as technologically advanced as I would like, I wasn't sure what My Catholic Voice would have to offer me. But I have gone from being a skeptic and I can see where the younger generation would be even more enthusiastic about a site like this.

This is Danny May, Coordinator of Youth Ministry at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Owensboro, KY. Our youth ministry uploaded a video called "cardboard testimonies" last March during Lent and it has had over 1100 views. Since then I've gotten phone calls and emails from California to Florida to Maine from people who have been touched by the video or used it in their own ministries in their parishes. Our DRE and I also do the "Tuesday Mornings" Podcast each week to give a short "pre-flection" of the Sunday Readings. One of those got 900 views. I am also a part of of another Podcast for youth ministers called "Think, Love, Go" that some YMs do once a month. MyCatholicVoice is tremendously important to my ministry here at Lourdes and to countless people who are inspired by the media MCV provides.

My Catholic Voice is a safe, (porn-free) alternative for Catholic families and parishes looking for downloadable Christian content. As the host and producer of the Among Women podcast, I rely on portals like MyCatholicVoice to increase the podcast's visibility to constituencies that might not connect or download the program through secular directories like iTunes, Blubrry, or Podcast Alley. My association with the MyCatholicVoice team has been nothing short of outstanding. They have been quick to respond to concerns and the team has my highest praise for how good they make my podcast look on screen, and for how well it is served technically.
