Description: The Irish rocker Bono has been added to the long list of contemporary artist scheduled to meet with the Pope next month. This will be the rockers second visit to the Holy See. In 2005, Bono bonded with Pope John Paul II when the U2 star placed his signature fly sunglesses on the leader of the Catholic Church.
Bono is one of 500 artists from around the world invited to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the letter from Pope John Paul II to artists.
Some of the other guests include Italian film score composer Ennio Morricone, American theatre director and playwright Robert Wilson along with architect Daniel Libeskind whos crafted the design of the Freedom Tower at the former World Trade Center at ground zero.
