Description: During his Angelus address Pope Benedict XVI reflected on the World Day of the Sick which will be celebrated on February 11th which also marks the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes saying the true illness is in the absence of God.
The doubts and anguishes, reassured the Pope, vanish in front of the power of Gods love.
We pray, therefore, for all the sick said the Pope especially for those who are seriously ill, and are totally dependent on others to take care of them.
The Holy Father also made an appeal for Madagascar, in light of the "strong political tensions that have provoked popular unrests".
