Description: The 10th Commandment is the basic foundation of this topic.
Exodus 20:17 “You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”
Christ’s summation in the New Testament took place about 1,400 years later. The ten Commandments were summed up in the New Testament at Matthew 22, when Jesus was confronted by the religious "experts" of the day: “Teacher, which is the greatest Commandment in the Law? Jesus responded by telling the story of the Good Samaritan --- who helped a stranger in need by the roadside. Then, in verse 37, Jesus told the man to go and do like the Good Samaritan.
The Bible states it very clearly, so there can be no possible misunderstanding: the Law Of Love fulfills the whole Law of God. And all other rules and commandments are subordinate to this one law.
