Description:
Night Skies and Hidden Stars
God, I remember learning about your stars flung prodigally across the sky: celebrity stars such as the Pole star and Sirius, constellations such as the Big Dipper and the Lady Cassiopeia, and all those ordinary, lovely stars who names few know. But now, too often, lights and haze pale their brilliance, or I'm too busy to look up and take notice. But they're still there, all those stars, even if I can't see them. And you're still there, too, aren't you, God of Heaven and Earth, even if it's sometimes hard to see your presence, hidden for the moment by haze and hurry?

Prayers for Sleepless Nig...
Many of us have been there: Those long, cold nights where our minds just refuse to let us drift off into the comfort of sleep. Instead the pressures and stresses of our daily lives intrude upon the time when we are supposed to be most comfortable. While Prayers for Sleepless Nights may not help readers actually fall asleep, it will give them a framework to do something constructive: create a personal relationship with God.
