Due to the popularity of My Morning Prayer and in answer to many requests, GIA is happy to release another prayer resource. My Evening Prayer contains seven settings of evening prayer on a two-CD set, one for each evening of the week. As with My Morning Prayer, each service lasts approximately twenty minutes and incorporates all the same great features as the morning service, including a booklet containing a transcript of the entire recording. My Evening Prayer includes works by th following composers and authors: Marty Haugen, Rory Cooney, Michael Joncas, the Taizé Community, David Hurd, Lori True, Tony Alonso, David Haas, Fred Pratt Green, Howard Hughes, William Bouknight, Susan Briehl, and Michel Guimont.

My Morning Prayer was conceived out of the desire to find alternate ways for people to spend time in prayer. Ideal for commuters, this two-CD set contains seven separate settings of morning prayer, one for each day of the week. Each service lasts for approximately twenty minutes and includes a morning hymn, two psalms with psalm prayers, a scripture passage, a canticle, intercessions, the Lord's Prayer, a concluding prayer, and a blessing.
