The proclamation of Rosary RAP began in high school for Christian Rapper Joe Melendrez. After being awakened in faith by a teen A.C.T.S. (Adoration, Community, Theology, & Service) retreat in 2001, the realization and calling to serve Gods kingdom on earth became very clear. The question of How? was and is always a challenge most disciples face. However, Melendrez enjoys challenges and is very sensitive to the influences of todays youth, possibly because he is only 23. To make the gospel of Jesus relevant, it is important to understand the signs of the times and creatively integrate the message of Christ as a lifestyle.
