About Me

I am currently the Director of the Office of Lifelong Faith Formation for the Diocese of Portland. For the past fifteen years I have worked in youth ministry as a retreat coordinator, coordinator of youth ministry and religious education, diocesan leadership team moderator, coach, high school theology teacher and department chair and confirmation coordinator. I credit my time as a member of the Woonsocket School Committee (my hometown) for providing invaluable experience in learning how to work with a wide-range of people in coming to meet the needs of young people. On the side I have been a workshop presenter and retreat facilitator covering a wide array of topics – from Chastity to Eucharist to the Dignity of Life. My most important role, outside of being a disciple of Jesus Christ, is that of husband and father. I am married to Lori and we are the proud parents of Michael Jr., Mariana and John Paul and Therese. I am blessed.

Favorite Bible Verse

"Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for your selves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light." (Matthew 11:28-30)
