About Me
My husband and I moved from our home parish of St. Eleanor in 1991 to start group homes for adult mentally challenged adults who did not have any one to care for them. Before we left our parish, St. Eleanor, we were both involved in many ministries - and blest to be at the beginnining of many dreams for our parish. I come back now, 16 years later, now in a wheelchair, because of a very bad accident where I broke my hands and feet and my spine is destroyed from my neck to my coccyx. I only mention this because I am allergic to all pain medications and I live in my wheelchair. No problem there except the pain. No sympathy wanted, just coming back "home" in a different capacity. Now is our time to start again with special needs people of every variety and incorportate them into our parish life. I play guitar, autoharp, piano, organ, congos and together my husband and I have sung and played our music together for over 34 years now. I am the oldest of 5 children - 3 sisters and a brother.
Favorite Bible Verse
Philipians 3: The passage where Paul speaks about running the race....definitely my favorite.
Favorite Music
World, Christian(Liturgical). I actually love all music except - opera, jazz andalternative and heavy metal.
